Being a lawyer and having formed several non-profit companies, I see these things. I know some of you run non-profit academies. Most if not all of you will not chance to raise any red flags with the IRS. Just a word to the wary. The IRS is expanding its staff and lowering the thresholds that may trigger an audit of the compensation practices of non-profits. There's also a new form 990 for the first time in 20 years, and executive compensation has to be detailed more in that form.
