and I wanted to share some pics I uploaded from our show (click on my link and go to my photos - there are 7-8 of them). Starbucks sponsored us coming in to do a completely original show for the Dallas museum of Art for the final weekend of the King Tut Exhibition. Backdrops designed and painted by me. Anubis and all other costumes (except mine) made by our costumer. Any silk you see draped or in costumes dyed and treated by me for our costumer to use. Deniz did all choreos except mine (I did the cane, the folkloric was an adaptation of a choreo taught to me by Becky Parlette).

I was very happy to hear from the Museum personnel that we exceeded all expectations and they would be recommending us to Indiana King Tut Exhibit - hope they bite. =)

Just had to share. Thanks for putting up with my shameless show-offed-ness. Now I have to go to bed and get up early for school (which is why I'm not here so often anymore...)

I suspect that the pictures do not do it justice. I counted two backdrops - were there more?
Congratulations on successful project and performance.

Just the two - they each took over 90 hours to design and paint. We had so much fun, though. I just got the DVD from the DMA today - can't wait to see it!

      =)

I wish that I'd known about this earlier. I was in Dallas this weekend and would have loved to see y'all perform. It looks awesome. :-D
