Hey all. I have been debating using VistaPrint to make some cards up. I just noticed, as I was perusing their selection that they have one that has what looks like a belly dancer on it. If you go to their site and search for choreography dance you should find it. It's not my cup of tea as the colours don't appeal to me, but I thought others might be interested.

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Sat, March 21, 2009 - 9:10 PMI just found another one with an actual one with a belly dancer on it. Search belly dancer and you'll find it. Same issue, the colours aren't my favs...

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Sat, March 21, 2009 - 10:50 PMI have friends who have used them, happily.
Me, personally -- I have not.. I get tweaked because they always promote their "free" this and "free" that... but ultimately, after you select the options you *really* want, it is far FAR from free! Leading and aggressive advertising usually steers me elsewhere... -

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Sun, March 22, 2009 - 12:10 AMI've used Vista print with great results.
I uploaded a photo. If I recall correctly, they do charge for a photo to be uploaded, but I don't recall how much...maybe $4 or so. I even got someone to help me position it properly so I could fit my name on the front. The back of the card had the rest of the text I wanted.
I have also ordered magnetic calendars for 2 years. They're cool. I didn't do it last year cuz I've been on the injured list, but I wouldn't hesitate doing it again as soon as I'm back on the circuit.
There is another place that makes cards that I used once... they make little stick-of-gum sized cards (approximately). I think it might have been called moo.com or something cutesy like that. Maybe someone else here used them and knows who I'm talking about? Anyway, you can upload as many photos as you like and they will make up a box (or multiple boxes) of cards, divided up based on the # of photos. I thought they were really reasonable too, especially for such a cute little card! -

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Mon, March 23, 2009 - 2:34 PMYeah, it's like a 1 time 5 dollar upload fee per image....I've used them quite a bit with great results. It's really best to start an account and orderr when their having sales. And go with the cheapest shipping - even with the three week option I usually get my order within seven days when it's not holiday season.

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Mon, March 23, 2009 - 2:53 PMMoo.com is great. They make regular sized business cards as well as the mini-cards. For my bellydance cards, I get the regular sized business cards, upload whatever full-color pictures I want to the front, and enter my info on the back. (You can upload an image for the back as well.) Because I have several photo options to choose from, I can hand out different cards depending on the venue - tribal, cabaret, whatever.
They're more expensive than VistaPrint, but I love the quality, and it makes for a very memorable card. -

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Mon, March 23, 2009 - 7:17 PMI've had great results with both Vista and Moo. I use vista for the postcards I use to advertise my class. Even with little add on prices and upload fees its CHEAP and they often throw in free stuff. I'm a bit of a do-it-yerselfer so I've always made my own designs, I've never used their pre-made stuff.
Moo.com is pricy-er but so fricken cool! I get their 50 business cards, every single one a different full color photo with contact info and logo on the back. I love these cards. When someone asks for a card I hand them a bunch and let them choose which photo they want. It's a good conversation starter. -

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Tue, March 24, 2009 - 9:06 AMI didn't read all the posts but you might also want to check out prints made easy. The website has a little monkey and it looks really silly, but I've gotten two sets of business cards from them and they both turned out fantastic! It's also very easy to design them on there and I don't think it cost anything to upload images (at least not that I remember) -

Re: Vista Print Business Cards
Tue, March 24, 2009 - 5:58 PMI use Prints Made Easy and have been for at least 2 years. There is no upload fee- you can design your own on the site, use your own design or use a template. They have deals sometimes. Quick turn around, too.
